Knowledge Drives Action. Help Us Liberate it.
The modern flow of information is overwhelming and encoded in jargon. Experts can decode subsections, but this knowledge is rarely communicated to the public, or even between experts. At eParliament, we believe that collaboration requires communication, and that in the 21st century, collaboration is required for innovation.
Our vision is the creation of a new public institute that catalyzes innovation through citizen and expert engagement.
Our mission is to work with academics to publish open-access expert knowledge in simple language.
Our values are:
1. Intellectual Diversity
2. Promoting Young Academics
3. Emphasizing Political Engagement
eParliament is a not-for-profit organization created by a collective of scientists, consultants and artists inspired by the foundational strength of Canadian Parliament - unanticipated solutions to complex problems are created when different perspectives collaborate.
